Background & Challenge
Eifers is a civil construction company supplying high-performance concrete and engineered fill solutions for infrastructure projects across Australia. From wet batch concrete to specialised products like Ecofil and rapid-hardening systems, Eifel supports asset owners on projects where performance, precision and timing matter.
Their proprietary cellular concrete product, Ecofil, is widely used for engineered backfill and void filling and can be pumped up to 500 metres, enabling efficient installation across large or constrained sites.
With increasing demand across Victoria’s Big Build and other major infrastructure programs, Eifers needed a reliable 20,000 litre water cart to support production and improve environmental control on site.
Dust suppression is essential on civil projects, particularly in high-traffic or urban environments. A larger capacity water truck would help Eifers reduce reliance on external water deliveries, minimise vehicle movements and maintain cleaner, safer work zones.
Solution & Benefits
Operating in regulated environments means equipment must meet government and Tier 1 requirements to perform consistently in demanding civil conditions.
Eifers selected an Allquip 20,000L water truck because the unit was well built, practical and designed for real-world civil operations.
Importantly, Allquip water trucks arrived fully compliant and ready to work, which is critical when delivering on live infrastructure projects with tight programs.
The Allquip Benefit
“The Allquip team were professional throughout, and we would confidently recommend them to contractors seeking a dependable, compliant and well-supported water truck solution.”
— Matt Eifermann, General Manager of Eifers
The addition of the Allquip water cart has strengthened Eifers’ operational capability on site. The larger capacity allows crews to maintain dust control more efficiently while reducing unnecessary vehicle movements.
The straightforward handover process, combined with operator training and support from the Allquip team ensured the equipment was quickly integrated into Eifers’ fleet and productive from day one.
